Omega: launch of the Laboratoire de précision
For more than 50 years, the main destination for any mechanical movement has been COSC, who grants the “certified chronometer” title. Since April, the Laboratoire de Précision will also function, officially authorised by the Swiss Accreditation Service (SAS) to carry out alternative and independent testing.
Patek Philippe World Time: a world first
Launched as a limited edition at the Patek Philippe grand exhibition “Watch Art” held in Tokyo in June 2023, Reference 5330 now enters the manufacture’s regular collection. This new-generation World Time is distinguished by a patented world first: a date display synchronised with local time.
Watches and Wonders Geneva
The event closed on an extremely positive note. It crystallised the unity of an industry driven by the same desire to share, excellence and expertise. The opening of the show to the general public, along with its extension into the city centre, have become key factors in its success.
